What a wonderful evening last Saturday at the Helotes Area Chamber of Commerce‘s “Helotes Supreme Gala and Business Awards” held at the beautiful The Oaks at Heavenly, LLC.
The gala brought together business leaders, entrepreneurs, community partners, and elected officials for an unforgettable night celebrating the people and organizations who shape and strengthen our local economy. It truly reflected the very best of Helotes—outstanding businesses and dedicated leaders who help Helotes thrive.
I was especially honored to meet Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar and connect with so many individuals who are making a difference across our community.
- Congratulations to this year’s award winners:
New Business of the Year: Spread the Loaves - Family Business of the Year: The Meadows Original Frozen Custard of Helotes

- Community Service Award: Wanda and Tim Boller of HTeaO Helotes
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Lydia McCloskey of SurGIS of Texas
- Non-Profit of the Year: K9s For Warriors Helotes

Nights like this are a powerful reminder of how strong, generous, and forward-thinking our Helotes community is, and I am very proud to be part of it.
