What a great morning at Coffee & Tacos with a Cop at Mary’s Tacos!

It was wonderful to see families, neighbors, and friends spending time with members of the Helotes Police Department, enjoying delicious coffee and tacos, asking questions, sharing conversations, and strengthening the relationships that make Helotes so special.

A heartfelt thank you to Gil Villanueva, owner of Mary’s Tacos, for graciously hosting the Helotes Police Department’s Coffee & Tacos with a Cop event and for his incredible generosity. When Gil and his wife opened Mary’s Tacos in Helotes in 2021, they said they wanted to own a business right here in the community they have proudly called home for more than 30 years. That hometown spirit was on full display as Gil welcomed residents and our police officers for a morning of great conversations, fresh coffee, and delicious tacos.
