Today I had the honor of joining Representative John Lujan for Congress, Senator José Menéndez, and former San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg at the Helotes Diwali Celebration held at the Helotes Festival Grounds.

Organized by the wonderful nonprofit, Bharathi Muthamizh Sangam, this event featured incredible dance and musical performances, delicious food, beautiful crafts and jewelry, and fun games for the whole family. It was inspiring to see more than 9,000 people come together to celebrate Indian culture, creativity, and unity.
